A Chilly Win To Success

The day of the Tri-State Invitational cross country meet began with a chilly start. With the help from the their  windbreakers before the race and their strong confidence in their minds,  both the boys and girls were able to bring home another great result. Out of 20 AA schools, the girls came in sixth place and the boys brought home a trophy for a fantastic second place!

Some of the runners also placed in the top 20 individually.  For the girls it was Freshmen Ryleigh Kelly, and the boys were  Freshmen  Dalton Grimes, Junior Logan Maust, and and Seniors Riley Gilleland and Sam Killinger. The Junior varsity runners also had a lot of personal times and places broken also.

The varsity team is not done yet, as they are preparing for the WPIAL cross country championships which is held again at California University next Thursday. Very nice job, and good  luck to all!
