October, along with Breast Cancer awareness month, is also anti-bullying month. All month long, across the nation, people will be celebrating anti-bullying month. During anti-bullying month people take extra steps in making sure bullying does not occur anywhere. If you personally, or see an incident of bullying you should report it.
No one should ever be bullied for any reason and this month helps create awareness of the cause. If you want to learn more about the topic of bullying, one of the E-books available online from our library is, “Words Wound: delete cyber bullying and make kindness go viral.” The book just talks about ways to stop cyber bullying and how to be smart about what you post. It also talks about what to do if you’re ever in the situation of being cyber bullied yourself. Overall, the book seems to have great ides on the topic of cyber bulling. Every month should be anti-bullying month, not just October. The world got enough problems and bullying does not need to be one of them. No one is perfect, how would you feel if someone pointed out your imperfections. If you are currently being bullied, or have recently witnessed someone being bullied, report it, you just make the world a better place.
