Apple Watch Series 4

In addition to the release of Apple’s iPhone XS and XS Max, a brand new apple watch has also been released. It was officially released on September 21, 2018 and was announced a couple days prior at an Apple event in Cupertino, California. Prices start at $399 for the most basic model. From it’s predecessor, the Series Three, the Series Four has seemed have gotten some substantial upgrades.

The Series Four comes in at two different sizes, 40 mm and 44 mm, a little bit bigger than last year’s Series Three, which came in 38 mm and 42 mm. Just like the Series Three, the Series Four has both LTE and GPS capabilities. Plus the Series Four has an all new edge-to-edge screen, which will make the screen seem even bigger. Both have a battery life expectancy of up to 18 hours before you will need to recharge. If you own a Series Three and have a band you like, their is no need to worry since Apple made the Series Four compatible with bands of previous generations of the apple watch.

In addition to the bigger screens, Apple has also put better speakers in the Series Four. The new Apple watch also now has Electrocardiography, or ECG capabilities which is where you can record the electrical activity of the heart. Isn’t that amazing how far technology has come. Not only that, the barometric sensor has also been relocated to help and calculate more accurate results for the health and fitness aspects of the watch. Overall, Apple has made some serious upgrades, since the previous generation of Apple watch.
