All of Mrs. Gartley’s art classes went on a field trip to Carnegie Art Museum in Pittsburgh on Friday, May 24th. They viewed multiple historic classroom, they were decorated with great detail. As for the art/paintings, they had numerous exhibits from different time periods.
They had over 50 students that attended the field trip, so they divided the students into five different tour groups. Each group had its own tour guide to tell you about any of the paintings in the museum. After the tour was over, the students were permitted to walk around the museum and look at the paintings that they wanted to.
The students had two hours of free time to roam around all of the exhibits. They had a reptile exhibit that you had to pay three dollars to get into, but you got to touch different kinds of reptiles. They had paintings from all different time periods, from the Renaissance to the modern day art.
