Several Uniontown students who attend the Career and Technical Institute competed in the skills competition on December 18th. Tomahawk Talk spoke to several of these students and they felt like they did a good job. Kayla Ringer competed in the opening and closing ceremonies. She said that it required a lot of practice and coordination between several students. The team received 2nd place which unfortunately does not qualify them to go on and compete at states. Kayla said that is was difficult because she had to memorize her lines. Julissa Ricco attended and competed in the makeup competition. She is still awaiting her results, but felt that she did a great job.
