The legendary English singer, songwriter, painter and actor David Bowie died on January 8th after an 18 month battle with cancer. David Bowie was truly a patron of the arts, breaking all bearers and defining a generation with his talents. David Bowie left behind a legacy of 29 albums and appeared in 21 films, even receiving the Saturn award for best actor for his performance in “The Man Who Fell To Earth”. Bowie helped create the glam rock era and influenced the punk rock era that would follow. He truly was a legend that transected generations and he will be sorely missed by many.
