On Saturday, March 24th, the University of Pittsburgh is holding an event known as the S.W.E. (Society of Women Engineers) High School Engineering Day. Located at Lawrence Hall on Pitt’s campus, the event takes place from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. It is an open event for all high school students, and includes things like lab tours and talks from professionals. Despite that it is called the Society of Women Engineers, this event is open to people of all genders, and to high school students from grades 9 to 12. Our school has many open slots, so feel free to sign up! For more information, or if you’re interested in signing up, click here. If you plan on becoming an engineer after high school, this would be a good learning opportunity for you, and you should consider attending! The deadline for registering for this event is March 21, 2018 at 11:00 P.M.
