Laurel Business Institute can help you obtain college credits while you are still in high school. Juniors and Seniors can take advantage of this opportunity by participating in dual enrollment with Uniontown High School and Laurel Business Institute. Take courses at LBI for credit in high school up to six credits per semester. If you decide to enroll with LBI after high school, you will earn credit for the classes you took while in high school.
LBI will waive 100% of your tuition. You only costs are for books, equipment, supplies, and optional certifications. Current high school seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher are eligible to apply for the John D. MIHM memorial scholarship.
Programs such as School of Business, School of Early Childhood education, School of Healthcare, School of Information Technology, School of Spa and Cosmetology Arts and also School of Trades are available. One of theses fields may interest you. It is a great opportunity for people that know what they want to do for a career. Similar to students that attend the Career and Technical school in the afternoon, students can also attend LBI.
For more information, talk to your high school guidance counselor or contact LBI at 724-439-4900 or firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline is March 18, 2016.
