Medal Count From The Winter Olympics

The 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics just wrapped up on February 25th. Here’s the medal count for the top 5 countries who participated:

Norway     Gold: 14       Silver: 14    Bronze: 11     Total: 39

Germany   Gold: 14      Silver: 10     Bronze: 7       Total: 31

Canada       Gold: 11     Silver: 8         Bronze: 10    Total: 29

U.S.A.           Gold: 9        Silver: 8         Bronze: 6       Total: 23

Netherlands   Gold: 8     Silver: 6     Bronze: 6       Total: 20

For the U.S. medal count, it has been the lowest for the Winter Olympics since 1998. They only received 13 medals all together from that Winter Olympic. The highest count it has even been for the Winter Olympics is in 2010, the U.S. scored 37 medals altogether.
