Model UN 2015

Model UN is an event that is usually held at college campuses in which students are assigned a country and a committee. The students are then “delegates” and have to discuss solutions to different important crises affecting the world.  The conferences aren’t necessarily competitions, so no one actually “wins.” Instead, the students are encouraged to use teamwork to arrive at a resolution with everyone in the committee.

It’s an eye opening experience that makes the students more aware of the events and crises happening around the world, and it really emphasizes the importance of teamwork and keeping an open mind.
