Movie Review: Barbie Fairytopia

Barbie Fairytopia is a 2008 American-Canadian direct to video film. Directed by Walter P. Martishius and Will Lau and starting Kelly Sheridan as Elina (Barbie) in the 5th installment of the barbie universe. This film is followed by two sequels: Barbie Fairytopia: Mermaidia and Barbie Fairytopia: Magic of the Rainbow, with two spin-offs Barbie: Mariposa and Barbie: Mariposa & the Fairy Princess later years.

Barbie Fairytopia is a film about Elina a flower fairy who doesn’t have wings and her friend Bibble a puffball. When Elina wakes one day to see that her flower is sick and the other fairies unable to fly she must muster up the courage to save her home and friends. Bust will she and her friends be enough to save all of Fairytopia?

Barbie Fairytopia is masterpiece of a film it has great characters and an amazing plot. There is nothing to complain about this film it’s an amazing children’s film that you can watch when older and still enjoy. My favorite part of the film would have to be the scenery it’s always so bright and eye catching and really helps to immerse you into that world. I’ll give this movie a 10/10.
