Pirates Season is Ending

The Pittsburgh Pirates season is coming to a end with a horrific standing in the National League. They Stand at 63 and 81 at the bottom of the NL Central race. There is no room to catch to the Cardinals or the Cubs. The Pirates are going to have to work hard with the playing time they have left. There are 18 Games left of the regular season, and the Pirates are more than 20 games out of the lead. If they catch any team it could possibly be the Reds.

The Pirates need to improve. Their owner, pitching coach, and manager are doing very little to help. When there are games, few people attend. In 2013 the Pirates wen’t to the playoffs and got the Wild card spot. This is when things started going down hill for the Pirates. They traded Andrew Mccutchen, who was a very important face in the franchise. The Pirates won’t be a big threat to any team right now, but they could rise back up again.

The Pirates are falling apart not only on the outside but also in the inside. Pittsburgh pitcher Kyle Crick got into a fight with the Pirates best pitcher Felipe Vazquez. Crick now has to have surgery on his finger after fighting Vazquez. This year was not a great year for the team. I hope next year can be better.
