Pittsburgh Record-Breaking Rainfall

So far this year Uniontown school district has not had any cancellations due to snow days.  Typically we have one or two at this point in the year.  This winter has continued to be wet with rain instead of snow.  As 2011 still holds the record of rainfall of 73.73 inches of precipitation for around the whole state. On the other hand, for Pittsburgh the last day of 2018 pushed the numbers of rainfall to a record breaking of 57.83 inches of precipitation beating the record set in 2004 of 57.41 inches. Barry Lambert, a meteorologist at National Weather Service in Sate College, said an average of 3 days of the weeks, this year, it has rained.
