President Trump Visits Pittsburgh

President Donald visited Pittsburgh PA on Wednesday October 23rd. He spoke at the annual Shale Insight Conference at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center downtown. Mr. Trump is expected to fly into Pittsburgh around 2:30 pm. Motorists can expect rolling road closures as the president’s motorcade makes its way from the airport into downtown.

Mr. Trump is expected to speak around 3:45 pm. He’s scheduled to depart at 5:15 p.m.  The speech is open to the public, but registration is required . Go here to register a ticket or proof of registration is required to enter the convention center. For security reasons, road and sidewalk closures surrounding the convention center began overnight Wednesday, Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said.

Twelve schools are currently closed due to Trumps visit. It’s the presidents second trip to Western Pennsylvania this year and his third since taking office. The president has been no stranger to Western Pennsylvania. The president is addressing the Shale Insight conference, a gathering of the natural gas industry from Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.
