Senior Spotlight: Elizabeth Bogdewic

Activities: Marching Band (2016-2020), Cheerleading (2020), Art Club (2016-2020), French Club (2017-2020), National Honors Society, National Art Honors Society, and Future Teachers of America

Future Plans:  I plan to go to California University to pursue a career in elementary education.

Fun Fact:  I attended Saint John’s The Evangelist for 4 years, Menallen Elementary for 4, and Uniontown High School for 4 years.  I took tumbling classes at Rock n Rolls tumbling and cheer for a year to learn to back handspring, sang the national the national anthem twice, I became Vice President of the Art Club my sophomore year, president my Junior year, became president of the National Art Honors Society my Senior year, and became treasurer for the French Club my senior year.

Advice to upcoming Seniors: “Don’t be scared to go out of your comfort zone to fulfill your desires. Don’t let your fear distract you from what you want.”

Thoughts on senior year ending so abruptly: It is overwhelming and heartbreaking as the year was close to ending, but I am glad I got to spend the months I’ve had with the people I love.

Shout Outs/Thank You’s: Thank you to all of my friends who have always been there for me. Thank you to all of the teachers who kept me on the right track. Thank you, Trinity Lax for being my best friend for ever, Josephine, Kaitlyn, Niani, and the rest of the clarinet section, and the cheerleading squad for making my senior year great.
