Summary of Naruto Shippuden: Blood Prison

Naruto Blood Prison came out on July 27, 2011 in Japan and in America on February 18, 2014. It was directed by Masahiko Murata and based on the manga. So after watching it I would give this movie a rating of 5 out of 5.

Naruto Blood Prison is about a boy named Naruto that is going to a prison in the Hidden Grass village for a crime he didn’t commit. He was sentenced there by his own Hokage. He faces beatings, sloppy food, and a fire prison jutsu- which burns you if you try to fight or use chakra and if you pass the gate you burn to ashes. He learns that the only way out is to defeat the owner, Mui, by battling him, but he fails many times.

He then learns about the Box of Paradise and how it is trying to be opened. It is said if the box is opened it can grant any wish, so the leaders of the village wanted it for power. Then, Mui opened it and instead of asking for power he asked for his son Muku who he sacrificed and later regretted.

Naruto and his village troops

Then Muku emerged from the box as a monster and injured his father severely and started to throw the prisoners into the box to feed the box’s hunger for power. Naruto try’s to stand and fight with his new friend Ryūzetsu and they both get hurt . Just then the Hokage of Naruto shows up with troops and aids in the attack of the monster. After an intense battle Naruto gets stabbed alongside Ryūzetsu. Finally, Mui holds down the monster as Naruto kills both by using a just called Raseganshruiken.

Naruto’s condition worsens as the battle is won and dies. Then, Ryūzetsu uses a jutsu that allows you to sacrifice your life to bring back someone and used it on him. The rest gathered the prisoners back in the jail and Naruto is released after learning he was not really sent there for a crime but as a mission.

The movie was excellent and one of my favorite movies. It has a great plot and beautiful action scenes. If you are an anime lover this movie is for you.
