TCFCA Combine

A combine for high school football players was held at California University of Pennsylvania. There were around 250 players and 20 college scouts in attendance. The event was run by high school coaches. Schools came from the Pittsburgh area as well as Fayette County.

The combine started with the 40 yard dash, the bench press, the broad jump, then the 5-10-5 cone drill. After those offensive and defensive individual drills were held followed by the 1 on 1s.

The 1 on 1s pitted defensive linemen versus offensive lineman, corner backs versus receivers, and linebackers versus running backs. This was the favorite part for most players attending the combine. This is where most players had the opportunity to show off their skills to the college scouts.
