Q: What do you teach and how long have you taught at UHS?
A: “I teach College algebra, College trig, and AP Calculus 1 and . I’m also a gifted support teacher. I have been at UHS for 29 years.”
Q: What have you enjoyed most about your job over the span of your career here at UHS? What are you going to miss?
A: “Interacting with the students and the students’ enthusiasm for learning. I’ll also be missing my colleagues and the times we had together.”
Q: Where did you attend college and where else have you worked?
A: “I attended Penn State. I previously taught at St. Mary’s and in the Warfordsburg school district.”
Q: Do you have any advice for students going in to college?
A: “Learn how to manage your time. Do not get behind, and remember, you are as well prepared, if not better, than the other students. Don’t fall behind your senior year either, even though it may seem unimportant.”
Q: Got any hobbies? Been anywhere interesting?
A: “I like reading, gardening, and traveling. As for traveling, I’ve been to Spain, Canada, Mexico, and to much of the U.S.”
