Conditioning for the new track season began the first week of March. Conditioning helps the athletes to get in shape and get stronger for there events. Preconditioning also shows the coaches the strengths and weaknesses of there athletes and can help them put them into events. The athletes are excited for another season, but are also looking for more people to join.
For those looking to join, there are events in sprinting, long distance, jumps, and throwing. If your wanting to join the track team make sure to go to the conditioning practices after school, and also turn in a physical to the office.
The very first meet will be March 10th at 4:00 pm, and it will be a home meet. All the other home meets will be on March 17th, March 31st, April 14th, and April 21st. Home meets are always on Tuesdays, so make sure to keep your schedule open on Tuesday evenings. Come support your track team and lets make this a great season!
