What happens when we “Unbox” each other?
This past week at UHS over 100 students came together from many different stereotypical social groups to show how easy it is to put people in boxes. The worst distance between two people is misunderstanding. We learned that there is more that brings us together than we think. Sometimes when you take a closer look you realize what you share in common.
In a world that can be unkind, a nation that feels divided, and a life that is hard at times, our purpose was to highlight human-kindness and the things that unite us. Our hope is that our community is moved by this visual representation of what brings us together.
Thank you to Mr. Durso for announcing and providing the voice over for the project.
