Whats Next for the Class of 2020

As the year draws closer to an end many of you may wonder whats next for our 2020 seniors. To help answer all your questions we caught up with a few of them to see what their future beyond Uniontown High School holds. We caught up with Sarah Maldovan, Emily Parker, Alyssa Holt, and Ashlyn Barcheck

Sarah Maldovan: Sarah plans on attending Duquesne University School of Nursing for the 4 year BSN degree. ” I want to become a RN and work in Pittsburgh hospitals.” We asked where do you see yourself in ten years? She responded with ” In ten years I see myself living in Pittsburgh. Working in one of the hospitals, preferably in emergency medicine, and hopefully married. To describe her senior year so far in five words or less she said its the ” Best time of my life.”

Emily Parker: During Emily’s high school career she was involved in many clubs because she says “You benefit from being a part of some organizations.” After graduation Emily plans on attending California University for elementary teaching. In ten years Emily sees herself “teaching and living comfortably.” To describe her senior year in 5 words or less she said “Its been okay, I guess.”

Alyssa Holt: During Alyssa’s high school career she was a member of the Math Team, Academic League, Hometown High Q, Envirothon, One Acts, Show Choir, Marching Band, Musical, Volleyball, and NHS. Alyssa plans on “either attending the University of Maryland or the University of Cincinnati for Chemical Engineering.” In ten years Alyssa sees herself “living in a big house in the city.” To describe her senior year so far in ten years she said “Schools to early, and I’m tired.”

Ashlyn Barcheck: During Ashlyn’s high school career she was a member on the soccer team, and the Raiderettes. She was also a member in NHS, SADD and Interact club. Her future plans are to attend Saint Francis University’s five year physician assistant program. In ten years she is not quite sure where she’ll be. To describe her senior year so far in five years she said its “The busiest and slowest year ever.”
