Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin will not say to whether or not Running Back James Conner and Wide Receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster will be returning to the field for the Steelers upcoming game against the Buffalo Bills. He stated that their abilities in this weeks practice sessions will determine whether they are on the field Sunday.
James Conner is battling a shoulder injury that he received late in the fourth quarter of the week 8 game against the Miami dolphins. The injury was a right AC joint injury and Conner left the game with his arm in a sling and did not speak with any reporters. Before his shoulder injury Conner rushed for 145 yards, just one yard short of his personal record.
JuJu Smith-Schuster is faced with a left knee injury that he got during the second quarter on the November 14th loss against the Cleveland Browns. Smith-Schuster is running on his own and is experiencing no pain as a result. “It feels fine, we’ll just ride it out, I don’t want to re-injure it” JuJu said about his left knee.
The whole Steelers community hopes for a speedy
and full recover for both players and are eager to have them back on the field. Keep your fingers crossed for them both to be playing in this Sundays game against the Bills.
