SENIORS:  The following seniors should see Mrs. Kriebel sometime today:  Christian Bean, Bennet Clark, Rachel Diamond, Jillian Durigon, Julie Friend, Matthew Hart, Courteny Hager, Nina Kalivoda, Lauren Palmar & Alexandra Piccolomini.  These seniors should see Mrs. Kriebel sometime today.

SCRABBLE TOURNAMENT:  There will be practice for the scrabble tournament for all students who signed up for the tournament Thursday during homeroom in room 301.

UPWARD BOUND APPLICATIONS:  Any student who picked up an application to apply to the Upward Bound Program should return it to the guidance office now with teacher permission.

RECREATIONAL SWIMMING:  There will be recreational swimming today 2:45 – 4:30. Those students taking life guarding should be at the pool before 3:00.

PROM TICKETS:  Prom Tickets are on sale during homeroom in room 516.  Permission forms must be completed to buy tickets.

WRITER’S WORKSHOP:   The next writer’s workshop will be held on Thursday during homeroom in the library.

BOYS & GIRLS TRACK:  Congratulations to the boys & girls track teams for their win over Connellsville.

FACULTY, STUDENTS & STAFF:  The National Honor Society is kicking off the Penny War for Lymphoma & Leukemia.   It will start on Monday, April 8th ending April 26th.  Containers have been placed in each homeroom.  Pennies count -silver coin or bills are deducted from the homeroom total.  Home room with the largest donation receives a light breakfast at the end.

LIFEGUARDING:  Those students taking the life guarding class after school with Mr. Yauger are reminded to bring their suits tomorrow.

STUDENTS & STAFF:  On Thursday, April 11th the Uniontown School District faculty members will play Brownsville School District faculty members at UHS at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are on sale in the office now $1.00 for students $3.00 for adults.  All proceeds go to the Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA.

TEACHERS, STUDENTS & STAFF:  On Thursday, April 11th, teachers from the Uniontown faculty will play a basketball game against teachers from the Brownsville faculty in the UHS Gymnasium at 7:30pm.  Tickets to the game are available now in the UHS office and will also be available at the door – $4.00 for adults and $1.00 for children/students. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m.  All proceeds from the game will benefit the Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern Pennsylvania, which serves Greene, Fayette, and Washington Counties.   There will also be a raffle at the game, which will include tickets to the Altoona Curve, Butler Bluesox, Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Power, and Washington Wild Things; passes to the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium, Heinz History Center, the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum, Lakemont Park & the Island Waterpark, DelGrosso Amusement Park, Kentuck Knob, Laurel Caverns, and midweek golf at Seven Springs; there will also be gift certificates to White Swan Flowers, Adrian’s Market, and the Grotto available.
