Yesterday, on April 26th, the boys baseball team played West Mifflin for the second time. The first game ended badly with West Mifflin making a comeback in the last inning. This placed Uniontown as the 4th seed.
The second Game started off in West Mifflin’s favor with them scoring a run in the 2nd inning. they scored two more runs in the fourth inning, making it 4-0. Then Clay Dean hit a home run to start off the fifth inning, making it 4-1. the inning. This didn’t give us the momentum we needed though, and didn’t score anymore.
West Mifflin scored two more in the sixth making it 6-1. After a scoreless seventh, the final score was still 6-1. This loss puts the team at a record of 8-4. Their record in the conference is 4-4. The upcoming games against LH and Ringold are must wins if we want to make the playoffs.
