With a record of (4-1, 1-0), the boys basketball team is headed for a good start. This weekend they played host to  Derry and then traveled to Pittsburgh to take on Obama Academy.

Friday, the Raiders defeated the Derry Trojans in their section opener by a final score of 79-40. Christian Kezmarsky’s hot hand really helped the team with 18 points and six 3-pointers. Joe Campbell had 16 points including a 3 pointer, and Dreher Winfrey chipped in with 11 points. What a great start to our first section game!

Saturday, the Red Raiders traveled to Obama, which was a non-section game. Uniontown came up short despite a good start, losing 75-66. Jordan Pratt scored 23 points and Christian Kezmarsky netted 12.

Tuesday, they play at Yough before hosting Greensburg-Salem on Friday. Both games are section games.
