Over Christmas break the Uniontown Boys Basketball team played and won two games. Their record is now 7-1 and by the way they’re playing, it looks like it’s only going to get better. They have been playing great basketball and have been beating most teams they play by double figures.
Uniontown played Albert Gallatin on Thursday, December 27. They came out with a big 72-34 victory over the Colonials. Jordan Pratt scored a game high 26 points and had a big night on the free-throw line as he made 17 out of 22 shots. Xavier Ellis also had a big game, scoring 22 points, including 5 three-pointers.
Uniontown played again on Friday night as they went on the road against Connellsville. It was a hard fought battle just like it always is between these two rivals. The final score was 61-53,Uniontown. Christian Kezmarsky led the Raiders with 22 points, 15 of those coming from beyond the three-point line. Coach Rob Kezmarsky is very proud of how his team handled this game and how they played hard the whole way through. The team hopes to keep winning so they can get back into the WPIAL playoffs and go far.
