Breast Cancer Awareness

October is the month of National Breast Cancer Awareness. In 1985 NBCAM was founded. The goal of the organization is to promote mammography as the most effective weapon in the fight against breast. In 1933, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation was founded by Evelyn Launder. It was also established in the same year that a pink ribbon would symbolize breast cancer. Breast cancer doesn’t just exist in women, it exists in men too although it is very rare. Staying aware of the risks of having breast cancer is very important.
