The Black Panther: Chadwick Boseman

Chadwick Boseman was an American actor born on November 29, 1976. He grew up in Anderson, South Carolina, where he was born. He graduated from Howard University in 1995, only years later did his acting career take off.

In 2010, Boseman was offered his first major role on Persons Unknown. In 2013, he landed his breakthrough performance playing baseball player Jackie Robinson in the film. He then did little roles here and there until 2017 when he was offered the role to the Black Panther.

Boseman was diagnosed with colon cancer in 1998 and had surgery, but it came back in 2000. He then decided to focus on his acting career for the next 20 years, until he died August 28, 2020.
