Christian Bean: A Journey Through China

We asked some of our seniors about their senior projects.  During our open house tomorrow, Tuesday March 5, 2013 at Uniontown High School, we will be showing them to the public.  Our students have been truly amazing with the work they have done.  For this showcase we have asked senior Christian Bean about his senior project.

Here are the questions and answers:

Q: What have you titled your senior project?
A:  “A Journey Through China”

Q: Please explain what you did for your project?
A: “I traveled with the People to People Student Ambassador program to China. We visited the most historic and well known cites throughout the country . from Beijing to Hong Kong to learn about and experience Chinese culture.”

Q: What did you learn from this experience?
A: ” I gained an understanding of and appreciation for not only Chinese culture but cultures world wide.”

Q: What is your advice to underclassmen regarding their project?
A: “You’d be surprised by what you can do for your senior project. Try to do something you enjoy and it won’t be such a hassle.”

Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “I will be attending the University of Pittsburgh Main Campus in the fall with an intended major in Psychology.”

A special thank you to Christian Bean for allowing us to learn more about his senior project and for graciously answering our questions.  We wish you all the best after graduation and nothing but luck with your career.
