Don’t Fear the Final

The semester is coming to an end, and we all know that means it’s the time to stress over our grades. Trying to finish make up work and cramming for finals can be very stressful and actually hurt you more than help. But there are ways to avoid this and to ensure a good grade.

1. Communicate with teachers and stay organized

Make sure you know what you should be doing and what you need beforehand. Studying for something that you won’t even be tested on is a waste of time, and when it comes down to this last week, we need to be as productive as possible. Also, if you need to turn anything in, make sure you know exactly what. Turning in old work is one of the easiest grades, so don’t miss out on it.

2. Stay rested

One of the best things for your mind is a good night’s sleep. It helps with the rest of your day. The less sleep you get, the harder it becomes for you to focus, and it hurts your memory. Go to bed early to make sure you have the best possible chance for success.

3. Study!!!

The whole point of final exams is to test your knowledge of everything you’ve learned in the class. Go over everything that you have. Review old tests: they’re the best examples of what will be on the final. Not studying just puts you in the worst possible situation.

Follow these tips, and you will for sure get the best grade possible on all your tests.
