First and foremost, it is against the law to vape in school. If you’re under age. the short term downfall of vaping in school is that others may look at you differently, your grades could fall and/or cause behavioral issues. There is a lot of wasted money spent towards feeding the addiction. and the long term effects are still unknown because e-cigarettes haven’t been out long enough to do a long term study.
There are also toxic chemicals and metals in them, such as nickle, tin, aluminium, formaldehyde, and acrolein being sent straight to the lungs, the disease control and prevention center says that it can take as little as 60 milligrams to kill a 150 pound adult, and some refills can have as much as 72 milligrams in them.
Once you get addicted, its harder to quit, and the easiest way to not get addicted is to never start. a couple months ago my dad quit smoking and it took him several tries to actually quit, and was addicted for several years before. so avoid peer pressure into vaping, and just vaping in general.
