FCCTI

The Fayette Area Career and Technical Institute program is an option given to High school students in grades 10-12. The other school distracts that offer this are Albert Gallatin, Brownsville and Laurel Highlands. You are eligible for this programs if you are in good standing with the school and not failing Language Arts or Math.

You go to the High school in the morning for your required classes. FCCTI students have lunch first. After, you get on the bus and go out to FCCTI for the afternoon. The bus will you back to the High School when schools ends. At FCCTI, you will meet kids from other schools if you already know some of them. FFCTI gives you a chance to learn a skill, get certified and be job ready when you graduate.

  • Building Construction
  • Cosmetology
  • Culinary Arts
  • Electrical Construction
  • Graphic Arts
  • Health Occupations
  • HVAC
  • Welding

Some students don’t want go to collage or can’t afford it. There are many skills to choose from. Most students that do better using their hands would probably do well at FCCTI. There is tour at FCCTI for the High School on March 22nd. Any students interested should go and learn more about it.
