The upcoming Freshman/Sophomore dance will be held on April 6 at Uniontown Area High School. It’s a semi-formal occasion, which does not include floor-length gowns and tuxedos. The dance is for Uniontown students in ninth and tenth grade, but they are permitted to take someone from another grade or high school.
Mrs. Howarth and students of the sophomore class are busy conducting fundraisers in preparation for Freshman/Sophomore. The fund raising includes selling pepperoni rolls, carnations for Valentine’s Day, and Sheetz coupon booklets. (Any help is greatly appreciated!)
Uniontown’s Freshman/Sophomore dance is expected to be an enjoyable time for all of the guests. There will be a large dance floor, and music from DJ Shaun Nice. Mrs. Howarth says that she anticipates “students looking to have a good time while respecting each other throughout the evening.”
Tickets will go on sale for the dance in mid-March, so be sure to get yours!
