Ghostbuster Afterlife: Movie

Ghostbusters Afterlife, an American supernatural comedy film, directed by Jason Reitman, written by Gil Kenan and Jason Reitman, and produced by Ivan Reitman. It is starring Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace, Kenan, and of course, Bill Murray.  

Ghostbusters Afterlife is an addition to the Ghostbusters sequel, where a single mother and her children are forced to move to their late grandfather’s old farmhouse, that was left to them. Where unexplained earthquakes and strange things keep occurring. While staying at the old farmhouse the children discovery that their grandfather was one of the original ghostbusters. The mother and children must solve the old mystery, due to the supernatural phenomena’s happening, to save the world from the threat of the supernatural.  

The movie had many release dates, due to the pandemic. The first release date was scheduled for July 10, 2020.  After that, it was rescheduled another three times.  It is finally now in theaters as of November 19, 2021. The streaming date will be January 19, 2022.  

I wanted to write about this movie because, after all that studying and school work, it’s always good to just take a break. Ghostbuster’s Afterlife is just that type of comical supernatural movie to get you laughing and forget about all that stress.
