Seniors! It’s almost that time of year where one chapter of your life ends and another one opens. As we head into our second and final semester of high school, take a look at all that you have accomplished from Kindergarten up to 12th grade. When the teachers said that these four years would fly by, we never believed it, but here we are. The final stretch.
Many of us already know exactly what career we want to get involved in once we graduate, and many of us don’t. Which is completely ok. There are so many options out there that can all of a sudden become one of your favorite hobbies and that can soon turn into your career choice. Start researching topics that you enjoyed learning in high school. For example, if you enjoyed science class, search for college majors in science. It will give you many options and explain what they will be teaching you.
If you decide to not go to college and would rather get a job right out of high school, that is completely fine as well. The school experience isn’t for everyone. Some people find themselves to be better in a work environment rather than behind a desk. No matter what decision you choose to go after, if it feels right, than it’s for you. Good luck to the Class of 2022. We wish you all the best from Uniontown Area High School.
