It is finally that time of year again, the Holiday season, the time that you spend with your friends and family. Personally, the Holiday Season is my favorite time of year. It’s finally time to go out and Christmas shop for all your loved ones, decorate your house, put up the tree, bake cookies, make gingerbread houses, and the most fun part of all, exchange gifts. Pretty soon we will be on Christmas break and get a week and a half off school. I don’t think anyone is complaining about that.
Several students told us about what they do leading up to the Holidays. For instance, Bay Vilenica told us that she puts up a Christmas tree, shops, wraps gifts, sends cards and has a Christmas dinner. Chase Degusipe stated that he likes to help decorate the house, shop, and put up the tree. James Rabon had a different tradition than others; he likes to make Gingerbread Houses.
Not only is it time for Christmas, but it is time for Winter, which means snow days and nice cozy nights by the fire. Many people also enjoy skiing and snowboarding, two activities that only come during the Winter. I am ready for Winter and the Holidays. It should be a lot of fun.
Happy Holidays, and Merry Christmas!
