The students in Honors Civics 9 took their final exam yesterday. Many upperclassman look fondly back on that class, and so we decided to cover how the students reacted to it, and their thoughts on the class as a whole.
Our first question was what they thought was the most difficult portion of the test, to which most responded that memorizing the details of every amendment was by far the most challenging aspect, especially the 5th and 6th amendment. Age Cookus and Katherine Walters dissented from this, stating that the information surrounding Congress was the most difficult.
On the other hand, the sentiment was unanimous that the multiple choice was quite easy.
Similarly, most believed that the class as a whole was very useful, and most we spoke to would say they would take it again, given the opportunity.
