Thursday night at Uniontown High School Raiders defeated the Vikes with a close score of 65-55. The Raiders held off the Vikes until the end. The Lady Raiders led by as many points as 16 at one point.
Danasha Harris scored 16 points for Uniontown (4-1, 8-2), Lydia Dennis added 15, and Jesse Madison added 11 more.
Coach Jason Winfrey was very proud as he said, “We faced adversity and responded to it,” “I’m proud of our reserves; they played well. A couple freshmen hit some big shots. It was a great game. I’m glad to go home and get some water.”
The next game will be at against Indiana on Monday. It will be held at Indiana High School.
