LH vs. Uniontown

The Uniontown Red Raiders boys basketball team is currently 15-3 overall and 9-2 in the section. Also Uniontown is ranked number two in the WPIAL AAA 3 (district) standings. Because of the hard fought loss against the Mt. Pleasant Vikings who is 12-9 overall and 7-4 in the section, the Red Raiders will probably move down in rank to fourth or fifth in the WPIAL AAA 3 (district) standings. The Uniontown Red Raiders will be matching up with LH Friday night at 7:30 pm, to try and defend the Section title against the Mustangs who are 16-14 overall and 10-1 in the section.

The last match up against the Uniontown Red Raiders and the Laurel Highlands Mustangs ended up in a hard fought loss to the mustangs. The final score of the last game was 77-71. Uniontown scored 16 points in the first quarter, and Laurel Highlands scored 24 points. The second Quarter, Uniontown and Laurel Highlands both scored 12 points. In the third quarter, Uniontown scored 20 points, and Laurel Highlands scored 15 points. In the fourth quarter Uniontown scored 23 points while Laurel Highlands scored 26 points. The last Uniontown,  Laurel Highlands game the Mustangs out scored the Red Raiders in the first half. The Red Raiders trailing in the first half was a major half the effected the out come of the game.

The Uniontown vs. Laurel Highlands will be a sell out game for the Section Title.
