BLOOD DRIVE VOLUNTEERS: Those students who signed up to help with the blood drive on March 21st are to meet with Mrs. Caromano in the guidance office during extended homeroom on Thursday, March 14th for assignments and directions.
PI DAY: Reminder to all PiDay participants the bus will leave at 8:20 tomorrow. You will be called by the intercom.
JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS: There will be a meeting for the junior class officers on Thursday during extended homeroom in room 310.
INTERACT: We need 2 students to represent Uniontown High School on Saturday, March 23 at an Interact Event in Youngwood, Pa. If you are interested in attending, please see Mrs. Caromano by Thursday, March 14, 2013
SADD DANCE: The SADD club and any student at Uniontown High School is invited to attend the Spring Fling Dance. The dance will be held at the Cabaret/Ivory Ballroom and the cost is $10.00. The dance will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Any proceeds from the dance will benefit the SAD clubs at Uniontown, Laurel Highlands, Albert Gallatin High School and the Career Technical Institute. Any student from Uniontown, Laurel Highlands, Albert Gallatin and CTI SADD clubs is welcomed to attend.
SENIORS: Any senior who is attending the mining engineering technology program at Penn State Fayette, the Eberly Campus, see Miss Marcinek or Mrs. Kriebel as soon as possible.
STUDENT COUNCIL BLOOD DRIVE: The student council will be sponsoring a blood drive on Thursday, March 21. Any student interested in donating blood can get permission forms during lunch at the student council table or in the guidance office from Mrs. Caromano. All students need a signed permission to donate and the forms are due to Mrs. Caromano by March 14th.
FRESHMEN & SOPHOMORE STUDENTS: Applications for the Upward Bound Program are available in the guidance office. The no cost program provides academic assistance & support and college advisement. Students must be college bound and live with parents/guardians who do not have a 4 year college degree.
DUAL ENROLLMENT FIELD TRIP: Sophomore & Junior students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher are eligible to explore Mt. Aloysius College on a field trip to Cresson, PA in April. The day will include a tour and information on admissions, dual enrollment, and student life. Sign up in the guidance office. You must sign up before March 29th.
GOLF: AMVETS Post 103 will hold a junior golf clinic June 10 – June 13. Applications are in the office. The cost is $50.00.
SKI CLUB TRIP: March 15th 4:00 at Hidden Valley. Sign up in main office.
COFFEE SHOP: Coffee shop will e open Thursday to juniors & seniors only.
ART CLUB MEMBERS: Please report to the art room during extended homeroom on Thursday.
