New COVID Guidelines for Businesses

With the rising number of COVID-19 cases, Governor Wolf created a new set of guidelines for businesses to follow. Beginning on December 12, 2020 businesses must follow a revised set of guidelines and procedures. Of those businesses, restaurants have been the most impacted by these guidelines. This order will take place until January 4, 2021.

These guidelines consist of a temporary shutdown of indoor dining. The number of people in gatherings has also been reduced. Restaurants still must follow CDC guidelines along with these new measures. Governor Wolf also encourages people to still get takeout.

He says we must still do all that we can in order to support small businesses. COVID-19 is a serious disease that we all must do everything we can to assure everyone’s safety. We must take all of the actions necessary in order to beat this disease. These new guidelines are nothing like the lockdown we have had before but are is step in the right direction for us to beat COVID-19.
