VO-TECH STUDENTS: that walk or drive will be dismissed after A Lunch today and Friday if they submit a signed consent slip with them. Slips should be submitted to homeroom teachers then forwarded to the office. Additional Consent Slips are available in the office.
ATTENTION FRESHMAN, JUNIORS AND SENIORS SELLING GERTRUDE HAWK : The order forms need to be in to Mrs. Crothers or Miss Carbonara by Friday, November 16.

FACULTY AND STAFF: we have been notified that there will be a tractor trailer parked in the lower front lot at the Uniontown Mall for Aid to New Jersey. This is being provided by PA. State Rep. Tim Mahoney. The truck will be there Nov. 16 – 18th . Needs are non-perishable foods, coats, boots, blankets, pillows, cleaning products and hygiene products. We aided a school ourselves back at the time of Katrina, lets rally and help again. Items can be dropped in Room 236.
STUDENTS: your help is also needed for the Aid to New Jersey truck. Please bring all items to Room 236. Early Childhood Students are to organize relief help.
ATTENTION STUDENTS ATTENDING JUNIOR SENIOR DANCE: In addition to formal pictures by George’s Studios, Witt Productions will be there taking photos for keychains. The cost is $5.00 each. If you would like to purchase any you must have your money that night.
JUNIOR SENIOR DANCE: This is a reminder to students attending the junior senior dance on Friday, Nov. 16th. You must be in school on this day for the entire day. This is a half day and so absolutely no early dismissals are permitted. If you are not in school then you will not be permitted to attend the dance.
SCHOOL PICTURES: Underclassmen, that is 9th, 10th, & 11th grade, picture orders are to be turned in to the office by Nov. 20th.
MAKE UP PICTURES: Make up pictures for 9th, 10th, & 11th grades will be on Nov. 29th at 7:45 a.m. in the auditorium. You will be called by the intercom.
PENN STATE UNIVERSITY FREE APPLICATION DAY: Any student interested in applying to Penn State Fayette may see their guidance counselor about the free application day on Thursday, Nov. 29th. In order to be eligible for this free application you must order your transcript no later than Tuesday, Nov. 27th.

OPERATION XMAS CHILD: It’s time for operation Xmas child sponsored at UHS by the National Honor Society help us reach our goal of 100 boxes. See posters for appropriate items to pack. Get a friend to help you, teachers please pack a box, classes pack a box. Boxes due Nov. 15th.

ASVAB: Test any grade 10, 11, or 12 student who wishes to take the ASVAB test should pick up a permission slip in the guidance office. The test will be given on November 28th.
