November 20, 2012 – DAY 55

TUTORING:  There will be no after school tutoring on Wednesday November 21st.

STUDENTS:  On Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. there will be an anti-violence program in the Auditorium titled “The Light”.  Mayor Ed Fike will be among the different speakers.  There will be a talent showcase including music and poetry.

10TH & 11TH GRADE STUDENTS:  Any 10th or 11th grade student interested in attending Pennsylvania Free Enteprise Week see Mrs. Vaccaro in room 301 for an application.  This is a great opportunity with scholarships provided to cover all costs for the week other than registration fee and travel expenses.

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS:  Stop & see Mrs. Howarth today or tomorrow to pick up the Sarris Candy Form and Wreath Form.  Orders are due Nov. 29th.

SENIORS:  Any senior who missed cap & gown measurement on Friday should stop in the office and see Mrs. Patek.

SKI CLUB:  Ski club applications are in the main office.  You may turn them in at any time.  There is no due date on them.

SCHOOL PICTURES:  Underclassmen, that is 9th, 10th, & 11th grade, picture orders are to be turned in to the office by Nov. 20th.

MAKE UP PICTURES:  Make up pictures for 9th, 10th, & 11th grades will be on Nov. 29th at 7:45 a.m. in the auditorium.  You will be called by the intercom.

PENN STATE UNIVERSITY FREE APPLICATION DAY:  Any student interested in applying to Penn State Fayette may see their guidance counselor about the free application day on Thursday, Nov. 29th.  In order to be eligible for this free application you must order your transcript no later than Tuesday, Nov. 27th.

ASVAB:  Test any grade 10, 11, or 12 student who wishes to take the ASVAB test should pick up a permission slip in the guidance office.  The test will be given on November 28th.

FACULTY & STAFF:  Reserve a Sheetz Coupon Book supports Class of 2015 and Musical.  Cost is $10.00 for $25.00 value.  Good at all Sheetz.  Great stocking stuffers.  Send form you received to Mrs. Howarth’s – prepaid

JUNIORS:  Dr. Dileo is scheduled to come to the High School on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 8:30 a.m. for junior physicals for those juniors that need a (free) junior physical to graduate, if students have any questions, they can see the nurse.
