NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY CARING TEAM:  T-shirt money is due, if you are wanting to order see Mrs. Howarth ASAP

SENIORS:  Members of football, cross-country, cheerleaders and golf should have their senior night biographies turned in to the office or Mrs. Cerullo today!

SENIORS:  Don’t forget there is a post prom parents meeting tonight at 5:30 in the cafeteria.

CAREER CONFERENCE:  A representative from IUP will be visiting on Oct. 18.  Interested seniors & juniors may sign up in the guidance office.

SENIORS:  Please pick up your pretzel rods in room 308 from Miss Carbonara.  All fundraisers help reduce the price of prom tickets.

SENIORS:  We are having a senior t-shirt design contest.  Turn your design into Miss Carbonara in 308 before November 2nd.  The winner will receive a free t-shirt.

STUDENT PICTURES:  9TH, 10TH, AND 11TH grade pictures will be on Friday, Oct. 26th. You will be called by homeroom.

FOOTBALL:  Tickets for Friday’s varsity football game with Thomas Jefferson will be on sale in the main office Thursday & Friday.  Tickets are $1.00 if purchased in the office.  Adult tickets are $3.00.  All tickets at the game will be $3.00.  Remember if you donate a toy we will give you a free student admission.

INVISIBLE CHILDREN:  There will be an Invisible Children’s meeting this Thursday.  It will be right after school in the art room (122)

STUDENTS:  The football boosters are selling Uniontown/Laurel Highlands Backyard Brawl t-shirts.  They are $10.00 on sale this week.  Buy a t-shirt and support the team!!  Order forms are available in the office.

VOLLYEBALL:  Congratulations to the girls volleyball team with a section win over Brownsville, making the team undefeated in the section.  Hope to see everyone at Laurel Highlands tomorrow night for the Lady Raiders last regular season match.  Let’s beat those mustangs.  Go Raiders!

ART CLUB:  Joe Corbi orders are due ASAP.  Also, stop in the art room tomorrow to get your permission slip for the field trip

STUDENTS:  Any student who did not buy a bonfire ticket or sign up for the games should see Mrs. Kriebel in room 516.

SADD, INTERACT, FUTURE TEACHERS OF AMERICA:  There will be a meeting for all SADD club members, interact club members and members of the Future Teachers of America on Thursday, Oct. 18th in the cafeteria during extended homeroom period.

STUDENTS:  Any student attending the open heart surgery this Friday needs to see Mrs. Vaccaro before the close of school on Wednesday.

FBLA MEMBERS:  There will be an after school meeting on Thursday, Oct. 18th.  Please meet in room 126 to discuss field trips, competitions, and fundraisers

ACADEMIC LEAGUE:    There will be practice Wednesday during lunches.

JUNIORS:  Friday is spirit day and juniors are to wear black.  If you have not purchased your junior class t-shirt you should do it before Friday.  The price is now only $5.00.  You can purchase your shirt in room 310.

WINTER SPORTS PHYSICALS:  Winter sports physicals will be on Oct. 29th at 8:30 a.m. in the health room.  All CIPPE forms or RECERT forms must be turned in to the nurse one week before the scheduled physical date.  Each page of these forms must be filled out completely and signed in the appropriate spaces. You may get the forms in the main office or from the nurse.

JUNIORS:  Reminder to any junior who sold Sarris pretzels that money is due to Mrs. Crothers as soon as possible.  We still have more pretzels to sell.  If anyone is willing to support their class, stop in room 310 to pick up a box today.

FOOTBALL:  The varsity football team is sponsoring a toy drive.  Bring a toy to Friday’s football game with Thomas Jefferson and get a free student admission.

SENIOR NIGHT:  All parents who are participating in senior night should be in the stadium at 6:15.

CHEERLEADERS:  All senior cheerleaders please turn your senior night information sheets to Mrs. Cerullo in the band room ASAP.

JUNIOR SENIOR DANCE:  This years Junior/Senior dance “Hollywood Nights” is being held on Friday Nov. 16th at the Holiday Inn in Uniontown.  The cost of the tickets is $40.00 per person or $80.00 per couple.  Tickets will be sold Oct. 29th through November 2nd.  All students must have a completed permission slip PRIOR to purchasing a ticket.  Students taking someone that is not a Uniontown student must also have a guest request form filled out.  Both forms can be picked up in the office or in room 210.  You will not be permitted to purchase a ticket without them.  We will also be holding a PRE-ticket sale on Monday, Oct. 22nd and Tuesday Oct. 23rd.  Tickets purchased on these two days will only cost $35.00 each.  Tickets will only be sold during A and B lunches on the patio.  See Mrs. Crothers if you have any questions.

DRAMA CLUB:  A reminder to all drama club students hosting a table at the calendar party on Thursday.  All ticket money is due to Mrs. Cerullo ASAP.  Also please be at the school a 3:30 p.m. Thursday to set up your tables.  All Chinese auction items can be brought to Mrs. Cerullo or Mrs. Howarth at any time.

FACULTY & STUDENTS:  The drama club would like to invite you to their calendar party on Thursday Oct 18th at 6:00 p.m.  Admission is $10.00.  There will also be a 50/50, a lottery hat & a Chinese auction. See any drama club member for tickets!
