Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science Competition

The Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science, or PJAS, sponsored by the AP and Academic Biology teacher Carla Lowden. The competition was held on Saturday, February 8 at the California University of Pennsylvania. Four of those who attended received first place, Nolan Ranker, Andrew Schoener, Anna George, and Sydney Troup. Two of those who attended obtaining second place, Josephine Maher, Isabelle Jones. First place awardees will travel to Penn State main campus to compete at the state level. Also, perseverance awards were given to Nolan Ranker, Josephine Maher, and Andrew Schoener.
