Review: The weekend of October 5th to October 7th had several highly anticipated movies released into theaters, including those of “Taken 2”, Tim Burton’s “Frankenweenie” , and last but certainly not least “Pitch Perfect”. Although “Pitch Perfect” came in 3rd place in its opening weekend at the box office, I feel it was by far the best film out of all those released. From the very beginning, you know you’re going to love this movie. The humor is very consistent, and the storyline is definitely well-written. The actors in this movie are hilarious and very talented. They truly showcase their amazing singing abilities. The songs chose for their a cappella groups are catchy, and well-known to everyone attending this movie. The funniest scenes in the movie include Rebel Wilson’s (Bridesmaids) gut-busting performance as Fat Amy. Her quick comebacks and hilarious accent make one of the best characters in a comedy film that anyone could hope for. There is also a relationship in this movie that audiences will fall in love with. You’ll be laughing and singing along throughout the entire film, and by the end, you’ll be very glad that you came to see it. It is truly a fun, hilarious, and downright entertaining movie to watch. Do not by any means, pass this movie up. Run, don’t walk, to your nearest theater and see “Pitch Perfect”.
