On Thursday, February 6, 2020, a group of our students visited the David L. Lawrence Convention Center that hosts a college career fair, which had an abundance of colleges and universities attend. They also had workshops available that talked mainly about financial aid. Most of the people that attended usually had their parent/guardian go to the workshops, while the students got information from the universities.
Before attending the fair, some of the students took advantage of their spare time and were able to come up with some questions to ask the representative from that college/university, such as “What SAT/ACT test score do you prefer, when applying?”, “What are some regulations for being accepted?”, etc. Being able to ask these questions with the representative present is a quicker way to find out more information on the college, rather than e-mailing or calling, which could take several days for a response back.
